How many beers will you pour?
about 500 beers
= 250 litres of beer = 5 50-litre kegs (or 8 30-litre kegs)
The gas per beer will cost you €0 — and that's including the price of the cylinder, which you keep.
How we calculated it: A 5 l cylinder pressurised to 200 bar contains about 1.1 m³ of gas. For one 50-litre keg during normal dispensing you'll use roughly 0.22 m³ (about 4–5 litres of gas per litre of beer). We calculate conservatively — the result depends on the pressure you set, the length of your line and the tightness of your connections, so in reality it could be a bit more or less.

🍻 Why the 80/20 mix for beer
🫧
Foam like in a pub
Nitrogen keeps the pressure, CO₂ keeps the fizz. Your beer won't pour like champagne or like water.
🧊
Beer won't get oversaturated
Unlike pure CO₂, you won't oversaturate your beer even in a keg that's being tapped slowly.
🔑
The cylinder is yours
No monthly rental, no returns of someone else's cylinder. When it runs out, we'll swap it for a full one.
